The Antimicrobial Resistance and Infectious Diseases Lab at Murdoch University’s Harry Butler Institute uses high throughput robotics and genomics to see how drug resistant bacteria and infectious diseases move between humans, animals and the environment. Led by Professor Sam Abraham at the Centre for Biosecurity and One Health, the lab combines robotics and microbiology to deliver new ways to detect, control and ultimately prevent infectious diseases.
