The Painted River Project
Over 50 people from Lithgow and surrounds, embraced the opportunity to paint alongside renowned artists and explore aquatic life in a day of painting, talks and science activities on the banks of Lake Wallace last November.
Brainchild of respected artist and Western Sydney University academic Leo Robba in collaboration with Dr Ian Wright, a renowned water ecologist, the Painted River Project is a unique event that attracted people from near and far to the banks of Lake Wallace to share in an experience centred around the water.
