Deakin Centre For Disaster Resilience and Recovery
Natural disasters are a major disruptive force in Australia, and the Centre for Disaster Resilience and Recovery (CDRR) works to improve our ability to mitigate the social and economic damage they cause. The CDRR conducts research to understand the full economic costs and social impacts of natural disasters, along with effective recovery strategies, and shares the knowledge created with communities, businesses, emergency organisations and governments.
