FutureFeed, Australia is a joint research initiative striving to reduce methane emissions from livestock with seaweed-based feed additives. FutureFeed was awarded the Food Planet Prize 2020 for exploring the power of seaweed as a methane-blocking feed supplement in the urgent effort to curb emissions from cow burps, a significant contributor to global warming.
