Jared Sunderland, NQ Dry Tropics and Chris LeFeuvre, Burdekin cattle grazier, talk about controlling erosion through water diversion. Chris is diverting and spreading water across the landscape and allowing it to settle which leads to better management and control of cattle, reduced erosion and less sediment entering the Great Barrier Reef.

It’s a win-win for the landowner and the environment. Generic tags: Great Barrier Reef, erosion control, water quality, cattle, water diversion, Burdekin, run-off, natural resource management.
