Robotics, AI, Automation, Cyber Security and Data Science are all fundamental technologies that will secure, develop and grow the Australian economy in the coming decades. The build a foundation industry is creating a cluster that helps support these technologies and the companies that operate within them.

Western Australia has long been at the forefront of technology, with the resource sector the first to use autonomous mining equipment in scale, inspection robotics for use in Oil and Gas, right through to leading in new technologies such as drones. More, now than ever, there is need to grow our supply chain, collaborate, innovate and train the next generation in automation, robotics, data science, cyber security and AI. 

Our network has always been there, quite often referred to as the same usual faces and we come a verity of different backgrounds, companies and disciplines. We work in large multinationals, small and medium enterprises, Universities and research organisations. We make mining equipment autonomous, inspect pipes in oil and gas, develop new products that support out economy and tech the next generation of people coming through. Our experience is extensive, and it is global but most importantly, it’s also local.  

The RoboWest cluster is merely a formation of what we have been doing all along with higher level of collaboration and a greater focus growing Western Australia’s piece of the global pie and creating a world class destination for technology companies focusing on automation, robotics, data science, cyber security and AI.
