Stonier Wines

Stonier was one of the first wineries to be established in the region in 1978, on the southern edge of Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Stonier planted Chardonnay in 1978, followed by Pinot Noir in 1982.

Screen-Shot-2023-04-25-at-44453-pmStonier’s Mornington Peninsula vineyards are the foundation of our winemaking practice. Our wines showcase the premium quality and character of the fruit cultivated in our pristine cool maritime climate.

The vineyards are guided to produce the best possible fruit from their given site within their natural constraints. Stonier’s vineyard portfolio boasts some of the region’s oldest vineyards, each one contributing nuances from within the different sub-regions of the peninsula.

Stonier's KBS Vineyard was the first to be bottled as a Single Vineyard wine, with our Windmill Vineyard producing Windmill Vineyard Pinot Noir in 2000. Our oldest Pinot Noir vineyard, Stonier Family Vineyard, had its first release with the 2009 vintage, as did our Lyncroft vineyard. The result was exceptional expressions of site in our Lyncroft Vineyard Chardonnay, Lyncroft Vineyard Pinot Noir and Stonier Family Vineyard Pinot Noir.
